If I’m not busy planning upcoming photo shoots in my Birkenstocks or meeting with new clients at one of Salem's many coffee shops, then you can usually catch me advocating for Oregon's Child Welfare/Foster Care system here in Salem. Word of mouth from previous clients has been one of my only advertisements and if you’re here, then it is most likely you’ve heard great things.
I can assure that I will always be there to ensure the best experience that can I can deliver. I will definitely go par in par with every expectation you have for a photographer regarding not only quality and creativity, but also professionalism. Feel free to shoot me an email through a contact form HERE, or just give me a call, I’m always ready to talk about what I can do you for you in regards to creating art in the form of you. And last but not least: Thank you for creating culture!
After beginning to shoot photos almost 7 years ago, I have gone through some substantial changes in my photography business.
I hope someday to be able to help mentor youth who have experienced foster care with understanding their own definitions of success.
I started doing photography more heavily after I was placed into care. I had a lot of support in learning how to start my business and with the help of my caseworkers I was able to understand that photography was something I really loved doing.
Shortly after I had the ability to shoot several non-profit events and that had begun my journey with professional photography. I have had many hard learned lessons and failures when I started out. Those experiences have taught me many lessons, and have made an extremely hard worker.
I then began working at Catholic Community Services in Salem as the Lead Photography and did their website management as a Digital Content Specialist. I have been there for almost 3 years.
Now I am slowly making the shift to full-time freelance working with couples, family and non-profits alike.
When it comes to photography, I will do everything I can to deliver the best photos possible.
Dylan Ulmer is one of my second shooters and has been a great friend since day one.
We both went to the same school and Dylan loved photography. He knows how to shoot film and helps me with shooting films for my weddings.
Dylan has a great eye for composition and loves doing videography. He is also very creative in designing digital materials and also helps me code for web as well.
Being proficient with programs ranging from Lightroom, Sketch and Photoshop.
